We've endeavored to get a successful Scandinavian dance group started in the past, with several false starts; but, as time permits, will be getting together again, especially now that we have a fully-functioning spelmanslag (playing group).
For our last Scandinavian Retreat we decided to offer the option of students watching Scandinavian videos or having a go at some turning dance lessons; most chose to dance.
That was a good start for Mary and Olav Hegge, who came over from St. Paul to teach. Olav also offered us a sample of his Hardanger fiddle prowess, warming up for his solo concert, the following week, for the Norwegian Prime Ministre and Ambassador.
